WELCOME TO THE DIGITAL ME. I’M CASANDRA GRUNDSTROM.
BIO
Hi, I'm Casandra. I'm a recently graduated Ph.D. working as a postdoctoral researcher part of the digital enterprise at NTNU in Norway. The goal of my doctoral research was to advocate for the fair and valuable use of health data. Designing and exploring mechanisms that enable transparent and equal access, control, sharing, and use of health data.
My areas of academic expertise and interest are:
-
human-centric management of health data
-
digital transformation of connected insurance
-
mechanisms that represent the social and material reality of health-related information infrastructures
-
adoption of telehealth for the self-management of chronic diseases
I am a Marie-Curie Alumni with an international network of connected health professionals. As well as a founding member of the MyData Health and Pandemic thematic groups, part of the award-winning digital data rights organization, MyData Global.
“Why are there so many barriers for getting access to my own data? No one really sees the problems involved with getting access to your own data until you are in the hot seat.”
— Steven Keating, Ph.D.
